Wyndham HouseTM Dual Beverage Dispenser Backpack Review

The Drunk Master 5000 (or whatever the company calls it) is a lot of fun. It's a phenomenal ice breaker at any party, and requires very few refills, as it holds over 1.5 gallons of liquid. The nozzle on each tank is a very strong plastic, and when you turn off the switch, the alcohol stops flowing immediately.

The bad news:
The backpack is not strong, and within eight hours of use it began to rip at the top. It will require sewing and cannot be filled beyond halfway in order to avoid repeated tearing.
The fish tube that brings the alcohol from the backpack to the nozzle is VERY temperamental. If it is not at an exact angle, the tube will kink and the flow will slow to a drip within seconds.
The final problem are the black circular caps on top of the tanks. They are not secure, and if you were to trip, those caps (and your drinks) are pouring out onto the ground.

Ultimately, I love the idea, but the invention is far from perfect.

This set is great. But some of the enamel inside started peeling off and ended up in the tea. Not sure if that's normal. I've never washed it with soap, only rinsed it out like the instructions said. But over-all it's a solid set.

These cups were purchased for everyday use, and specifically for a tea party for my 8 year old and her friends. The cups and saucers arrived in about a week. They arrived in perfect shape, and I was pleased to realize that although these cups were made in China it is stamped right on the bottom that they are lead free, a big plus, especially at this price point. These cups are daintier than a coffee cup, but larger than an espresso cup, there is no mistaking that they are meant for tea. They will work very well with my everyday porcelain teapot, sugar and creamer, and at this price, I will not be too upset if one ends up broken at my daughter's tea party. I have already run this set(I purchased 6) through the dishwasher, and had no problems. The only drawback was the shipping, it was a little over $6 to ship them, and after my purchase I found similar teacups at a local chain store for a similar price, however, the fact that they are lead free, and of superior quality to the other teacups (thicker and heavier)leaves me with no regrets. I am very pleased.
