This tea set is nice and sturdy, not as delicate as it looks in the photo, which I appreciated. It does dribble some- though with practice I think that'll lessen (every teapot has it's own quirks). And while it's a little smaller than I expected, the teapot does do a great job of keeping the tea nice and hot- it only started getting cold after about an hour.

However- the opening for the lid is small- about the width of a teaspoon- and the tea balls that I bought don't fit inside, which is irritating. I got this specifically to use with loose-leaf tea. Still, aside from that it does what it's supposed to do, and I'll keep using it. The hatbox and packing materials should make it pretty easy to move, too.

ETA: After using this for about two months, I'm moving it up to four stars. It does dribble still, but that's the only problem I have with it. It holds about three of the cup's worth of tea, and after each hand wash it still sparkles like new- the paint is still in perfect condition, etc. I've also moved since buying this, and the hatbox really is great for moving the set, I didn't have any trouble at all with it. Now if I could just find a way to stop it from dribbling!

ETA Again: I've owned this for about a year now, and it is still in perfect shape. And I think the dribbling is fixed- I read up on the subject a bit, and the cure seems to be *not* cleaning out the spout of the pot- the tannin from the tea coats the inside, making it smoother, and the tea flows out faster, and the faster the tea flows out, the less it dribbles. You still have to tilt the teapot to start and stop pouring quickly, but now there's barely any dripping at all. (Other fixes I've heard of include putting butter on the spout- though where on the spout I've no idea- or getting a drip-catcher, which I nearly did before the problem fixed itself.) I've been brewing my tea in a french press, and putting it in the pot and cup for serving, which works very well- I can drink the 2.5 or so cups it holds that way slowly (perhaps half a liter of tea overall, according to the amount of water I put in my electric kettle). Still a nice little tea for one set.
