I hate bitter coffee so we always keep ours fresh by pouring directly into a carafe. I purchased this one to replace and older, bigger one which was leaking. When I opened this the first thing I thought was there was no way it was as large as they quoted in the description. So I measured it out and it was spot on. It is designed so perfectly, it's hard to imagine it would hold more than three cups until you use it. When they say you can put the lid on with one hand, they are correct. It just sets on and you give it one twist and it's done. Nice and small it fits easily on your counter without ever being in the way and best of all a pot of coffee easily stays hot all day. Very ergonomic, so if you have arthritis, carpel tunnel, etc., you will appreciate that fact very much. Never has leaked a drop and I've had it quite a while now. I will only purchase this brand if I ever need to replace it in the future. One of those things that you absolutely love to use and you are so happy you chose it!
