The first one I received had a flaw that allowed water to leak out. I had not previously had to return anything purchased from Amazon and it went very smoothly. I submitted (online) the problem over the weekend, and Amazon sent me return options. UPS came and picked up the defective unit Monday and delivered the new one on Tuesday. Can't ask for better than that.

Now, to the product. I had been looking for a water jug to sit unobtrusively on the counter and dispense water. This is it. It is easy to add fresh water to, and easy to dispense water from. The top fits snugly and the height makes it easy to use. I wanted something with a low spigot that would hang over the counter, not something that you had to worry about fitting glasses/pots/pitchers/whatever between the spigot and counter. I just set this at the edge of the counter and can put anything I choose under it. I use a countertop water distiller, and this allows me to store a larger amount (2.5 gallons) of water ahead so that I have plenty available for cooking as well as for drinking. I like that it is not clear glass . . . I know what's in there and I like the appearance of the jug.
