This platter was just what I wanted to match a piece I already have in my kitchen. It was to be my fruit bowl for the countertop. When I found it on this site it was sold out but there was one on the warehouse store that was in "good" condition. I quickly ordered the platter and looked forward to it's arrival. As soon as the package was delivered I knew there was a problem because it was rattling. I had read other comments that said that items were broken upon arrival.
When I opened the package I wasn't surprised to see the broken peices since the platter was very poorly wrapped. Only one small bubblewrap sheet was wrapped around it and then some brown paper stuffed in the box. I tried to glue it back together but there were too many shards. I was very disappointed. I returned the item and did not re-order as I didn't want to deal with it again.
