I am SO disappointed at this cake server... I loved the design and practicality of this product, and was waiting for the perfect opportunity to use it. After months of owning it, I've finally used it, and was shocked that it broke during its first use! No pressure or force was applied, but it just split open at the narrower end. For such an expensive item (for what it is), I really expected it to be of much better quality.UPDATE: The company sent me a replacement Cake Server free of charge, but I haven't used it yet. Hopefully, this one won't break too...
