This dish is not tall enough for the butter cubes we get in our area. It smushes them and the lid sticks to the butter. Wouldn't be able to use them for cream cheese either. Not wide enough.

What is this for anyway? Small amounts of veggies like radishes in ice water I guess. I am thinking if I turn it upside down and smush the butter into the top; nah, too much work.
