They are very light and durable for every day and look GREAT. They stack neatly and compactly, and they fit perfectly into my dishwasher too. I accidentally bang them against my sink all the time and couldn't put a chip in them. I've dropped one and it just kinda bounced off my hardwood floor and no damage. Upon closer inspection, the plates are not completely flawless at the edges of each plate, there are occasionally one or two tiny bumps, but it doesn't affect usage or appearance, and I'm just OCD which was why I noticed it at all.
