This salt cellar is absolutely lovely. I was looking for an olive wood salt keeper but was willing to go with ceramic since there aren't a lot of wooden ones. There's a gorgeous one from France but it's nearly $50! After lots of looking and reading reviews, I ordered this even though there were no reviews. I'm glad I tried it ~ it's just right.

The wood is a beautiful color, and soft/smooth to touch. The lid swivels easily. Swiveling lids don't actually seal the contents but that's not a requirement with salt. It's nice and small too, just the right size for next to my oven while I'm cooking.

I couldn't be more pleased; give it a try!
