I purchased this pitcher because the warehouse stores where I get my milk "upgraded" their packaging to something that is virtually unpourable by my family members. I had to choose between the higher priced grocery store milk in the regular jugs, constantly wiping up spilled milk, or finding an alternate pouring/storage solution. This pitcher is passable...I like the lid that pours well and has a cover that closes. The plastic walls are rather thin and the square design, though it fits nicely in the fridge door, makes it difficult to get that last bit of milk out. Also, the handle feels a little flimsy when the jug is full, though I have had no actual problems with it. Still, it is better than milk all over the table or floor when we try to pour from the "new & improved" jugs. For the price and the fit in my fridge, I would recommend this to anyone else suffering with the new design for gallon milk jugs.
