I bought these because of the Emile Henry name and the fact that they are oven proof and can actually go from freezer to oven. I decided to buy two sets of these. They are larger than I thought they would be, more like little bowls than actual cups. I like that they are oven proof so I can bake puddings and other desserts in them. They have a nice solid weight to the cups. The only problem was the glaze. Some of the cups were more of a dirty ivory color rather than white and there were bubbles in the glaze. I now have eight cups in different shades. This was disappointing for the price of these. I may just keep these since I don't want to pay the return shipping costs.
