HotSmart Hot Gourmet Plates - InstaHot 30 minute Plus (Patented) Review

The plate is wonderful, it does the job just as advertised. The plate comes with instructions on recommended microwave time for the wattage of the microwave. My microwave is 1100 watts so I heated the plate for 1 minute, it was able to keep the food warm for over 45 minutes. A family member is a very slow eater (due to medical problems each meal takes a little over an hour not including dessert) and this plate was able to keep the food warm the entire time. Initially, I was looking for a metal platter/wood tray combo that restaurants use to serve fajitas or steaks to help keep food warm. I saw this and thought I would try it out; I am very glad I did. I think it is much better than the "sizzler" plates since:
1) it keeps food warm for a longer period of time.
2) it can be washed in dishwasher (some metal plates have to be hand-washed).
3) takes up less room in cabinet, do not have the hassle of metal plate and protective outer wood/plastic plate.
4) safer than metal plate since rim of this plate is safe to touch if you follow the instructions.
Plus, it is very pretty and neutral in design so fits with any decor. The only potential down side is that the plate is a little heavy, however, it is still lighter than the metal platter/protective tray combo. I am very impressed with this product and recommend it to everyone who likes their food hot. As I said, buy it and you won't be disappointed.

I ordered these Impulse chargers in Gold and they are sooooo beautiful. We will be using them for my sons wedding as his fiance picked black/White/Gold with touches of blush pink to decorate so these chargers will give them the bling they want on the tables! I can not say enough about the price I paid for the 4 chargers, $8.82, a definite steal! Serviceable, attractive, but it feels like it was manufactured via a mechanized assembly line (versus handmade with care). Plus, the color of the mug indicated here on my computer screen seems to be sea foam or aqua green, whereas in real life it's a much darker matte green (as was indicated in the written description). For that reason, I'm trying to return my mugs (4 of them). I contacted the seller yesterday, and am waiting for a reply one day later. Hope the seller, at the very least, turns out to be responsive.

I bought these bowls because I wanted a nicer quality than the plastic bowls I've been using for several years. I also wanted bowls I could pull straight out of the dishwasher without having to dry any ridges or crevices where water remains after the dry cycle.

These bowls have a bit of weight to them and are a beautiful cherry red color with a bright white interior. I am a bit clumsy in the kitchen and, as such, have broken quite a few delicate items, but these are quite durable.

I can't wait to finish buying the set! They are a bit on the expensive side but are well worth it by aesthetic and practical criteria!

Easy to use, the hidden pillar part (that goes through the globe and into the cake) is easy to cut to fit and the plastic cake plates snap into it keeping the cake nice and solid. We used the cake plates to mark the frosting where we wanted the pillars so that it would be centred properly and then put the cut pillars in place. The plates were transported separately and placed on at the site. Super easy.
