Sophisticated pearl-look globes separate tiered cakes for a dramatic new look. The 2 and 2 1/2 Pillar Sets are positioned between tiers, as globes fit over hidden pillars to provide strong support. The 3 in. Base Set features a reinforced center channel which fits over separator plate spikes to hold your base cake. Use all three sets together to create a towering 3-tier. The Globe Base Set is to be used under the bottom tier only; Pillar Sets will not support the base tier.

Globe Pillar and Base Set - 2 1/2 in. Review

Easy to use, the hidden pillar part (that goes through the globe and into the cake) is easy to cut to fit and the plastic cake plates snap into it keeping the cake nice and solid. We used the cake plates to mark the frosting where we wanted the pillars so that it would be centred properly and then put the cut pillars in place. The plates were transported separately and placed on at the site. Super easy.
