Purchasing an item such as this without actually seeing or touching is a tough decision - I took a long shot and did. I'm glad I did... this flatware is very nice... simple and stylish, as well as having a GREAT finish and weight to them. I was pleasantly surprised at their feel. We've had several dinner parties and the flatware fits comfortably in your hand and looks nice with any dinnerware (we have several different patterns that we use depending on the occasion). Knives are sharp too and easily can be used for tender beef, chicken, & pork. The teaspoons are a little short, but the soup spoons are a nice length to stir coffee in our larger mugs... The price can't be beat for the quality - I highly recommend!
